Platinum Pass winner Jozsef Papp opened to 1,000 from the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 3,400 from the small blind. Papp called.
O'Dwyer continued for 4,800 on the flop of and the Hungarian quickly folded.
Shortly before the hand, O'Dwyer was joined at the table by fellow high-stakes crusher Michael Addamo. Elsewhere in the area, Ryan Leng and Platinum Pass winner Vanessa Cade took their seats.
Kitty Kuo raised it up from the cutoff and Aleksejs Ponakovs three-bet to 1,600 on the button. Kuo called and the dealer fanned the flop of . Kuo checked to Ponakovs who bet 1,300 and Kuo check-raised to 4,000. Ponakovs called and the landed on the turn.
Kuo fired out another bet of 9,000 and Ponakovs deliberated before just calling. The completed the board and Kuo splashed in a bet of 14,000. Ponakovs snap-called and Kuo turned over for a rivered straight. Ponakovs mucked his hand and Kuo raked in a big pot in the first level.
Vlad Lache led out for 1,400 on the flop, with Andrew Lichtenberger calling from the small blind and Aaron Olechnowicz folded in the big blind.
Lichtenberger checked the turn and Lache continued for 3,800. Lichtenberger called and checked again on the river.
Lache fired 8,600 and Lichtenberger took some time before raising to 27,000. Lache went into the tank for several minutes before another player at the table called for the clock.
Lache was given 30 seconds to act, eventually making the lay down, awarding the pot to Lichtenberger.
Action folded around to Platinum Pass Winner Rene Bergeron in the small who limped. PokerStars Team Pro Ambassador Lex Veldhuis was in the big blind and raised to 700. Bergeron called.

The river was the and Bergeron checked. Veldhuis bet 11,000 which put Bergeron in the tank. Bergeron looked pained before folding to Veldhuis as the chips went to the Team Pro Ambassador.
Bergeron won his platinum pass in a Spin & Go promotion on PokerStars.fr which qualified him for a freeroll at the big bash in Barcelona which he won to get his opportunity in the $25,000 buy-in.
