Welcome to PokerNews' coverage of the inaugural PokerStars Festival from Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey!
Today we will be providing Day 2 coverage of Event 1 - $300 NL Hold'em PokerStars Cup. Over three starting flights, there were 107 entries and only 21 players remain. Everyone is guaranteed at least $450, with first place set at $6,520. Thomas Miller is on top of the counts with 129,100, and still in the running are Team PokerStars Pros Victor Ramdin (111,000) and Chris Moneymaker (69,200).
Play will begin today with 20 minutes remaining in Level 13, with blinds of 1,000/2,000 and a 300 ante. Levels last 30 minutes long and play will commence until a winner emerges. Moneymaker is looking for his second win of the series, having won Event 6 - $560 PL Omaha Hi/Lo last night after bagging up chips on Day 1a of this event.

The flop came down and Levin checked to Miranda who shoved for 16,300. Levin called with , needing to catch a club against Miranda's .

The PokerStars Festival New Jersey event is chock full of added value, fun, and entertainment for the players.
Included in that is a morning Q&A session hosted by PokerStars' own Lee Jones where he plans to interview a number of top players and members of Team PokerStars Pro throughout the week live on the PokerStars Twitch channel.

Julian Miranda limped from under the gun, Jason Martin Velasco completed his small blind, Robert Levin raised all in from the big blind for about 19,000, Miranda reraised all in for about 47,000, and Velasco folded.

In a battle of the blinds with the flop reading and about 30,000 in the pot, Eric Rivkin (small blind) check-called 13,000 from Team PokerStars Pro Victor Ramdin (big blind).
The turn was the and both players checked.
The river was the and Rivkin checked to Ramdin who bet 28,000. Rivkin mulled it over for a bit before he folded.
"I have to show this man," says Ramdin, as he tabled for a straight flush. Ramdin is also playing in the NJCOOP Main Event on PokerStars NJ on his tablet, currently sitting 7th in chips with 25 players remaining.
