Two hands ago, Alexis Fleur was in the big blind and received a walk. The next hand, he folded the small blind and fellow Frenchman Clement Tripodi received a walk.
Fast forward one hand, Eric Cech moved all in from the hijack and Fleur called all in for around 1,000,000 from the button. The blinds folded and the cards were turned over.

After the board of , the start-of-the-day chip leader bowed out in 7th place and has to settle for a payday of £16,702.
There have been a few bumps along the road so far in this tournament, and no doubt more to come, for Ludovic Geilich but he just keeps going. He has such faith in his game at this stage of the tournament that belief is almost worth some extra chips.
Geilich made it 285,000 from under the gun and got one call from late position Yuriy Boyko.
The flop was and Geilich bet 295,000.
Boyko stared him down as Geilich sat still. A minute passed and then Boyko folded.
The action started with a raise to 305,000 by Daniel Harwood in the cutoff and Ludovic Geilich called in the big blind. The flop fell and Geilich checked, Harwood continued for 380,000 and Geilich called.
On the turn, Geilich checked again and Harwood immediately announced all in. Geilich gave it some thought and engaged in table chat with his opponent, asking if he had ace-king. "So you got king jack?" Harwood replied back. Further table chat followed and Geilich had a difficult decision ahead with 2,235,000 behind.
Eventually, the Scotsman called and was in need of help.

The Scottish rail including Fraser MacIntyre was calling for a nine, but the river was a blank instead to eliminate Geilich in 6th place for £22,950. Right after, some celebration for the Chinese New Year kicked in at the ground floor of the casino and the clock was stopped.
After getting back into action, Daniel Harwood had a couple of raise and take it hands while short stack Clement Tripodi hasn't found a spot yet to get his stack in. Tripodi is down to around 14 big blinds, and that will get worse when the blinds go up in a few minutes.
The action folded to Eric Cech and he raised to 260,000 from the small blind. Short stack Clement Tripodi moved all in from the small blind and Cech asked for a count. The shove of the Frenchman was for 1,665,000 and Cech called just before the end of the level.

The flop fell and Yuriy Boyko said "we got a sweat" to the rail. Neither the turn nor the river helped to improve Tripodi and he has been eliminated in 5th place for £31,510.
