As we arrived, Paul Newey had all of his 50,800 already in the middle and Mike McDonald had his stack of over 180,000 in there as well. Vladimir Troyanovskiy had chips invested already but eventually folded.
Paul Newey:
Mike McDonald:
McDonald showed his aces first and said "That's bad news for you" when Newey showed his first, followed by the . Newey remembered someone beating his red aces with ace-queen back in Prague two weeks ago and was still somewhat hopeful he could repeat that feat.
The brought him halfway there, but the on the turn and on the river were blanks and Newey made his exit.

Jason Koon, who won the $100,000 Super High Roller for $1,650,300 yesterday, has just been eliminated from this $50,000 Single-Day High Roller.
Koon shoved has last 24,800 in with and found a caller in small blind Sam Greenwood who turned over . The board ran out and Koon exited.
Koon left his bag at the table as he was buying back in and was almost certainly he would draw the same table as it was the only one with open seats.

"Come on! First suck out of the year," Kurganov instructed the dealer.
It would not come, as the board ran out .
He had just a tiny bit left and was all in blind the next hand. He lost his chips with ten-six to Vladimir Troyanovskiy's flopped trips and hit the rail for the second time today.
