Wilson Takes From Peters

Nível 27 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

David Peters raised from the cutoff to 90,000 and found a call from Andy Wilson in the big blind.

Wilson checked the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Peters continued for 80,000. Wilson then check-raised to 350,000, with Peters calling to the {7-Clubs} turn. Both players tapped the table to see the {10-Clubs} river before Wilson led out for 250,000.

Peters took some time before making the fold, as Wilson added a boost to his stack.

Rafael Moraes Eliminated in 21st Place ($8,100)

Nível 27 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Rafael Moraes
Rafael Moraes

Rafael Moraes was the shortest stack coming into the day and he shipped all in for 240,000 from under the gun. Luc Lafontaine re-shoved all in from the hijack and the rest of the table folded.

Rafael Moraes: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Luc Lafontaine: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Moraes was left grasping at straws. The {6-Hearts} on the turn gave him some life but the {2-Diamonds} on the river ended his tournament in 21st place.

Kayhan Mokri raised to 80,000 on the button and called when Roman Timergazin shoved his short stack from the small blind.

Roman Timergazin: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Kayhan Mokri: {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Timergazin was in good shape to begin the hand, but the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop gave Mokri a flush. Timergazin could not catch up on the {k-Clubs} turn or {7-Clubs} river and was eliminated in 22nd place.

Gusmao Gets Flushed Out

Nível 27 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The action folded to Pedro Gusmao who made it 95,000 from the small blind. Maximillian Silz called from the big blind and the dealer spread the flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Both players checked and the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Gusmao led out with a bet of 155,000 and Silz jammed all in for 475,000. Gusmao asked for a count before making the call. Silz tabled {q-Spades}{2-Spades} for straight and flush draws while Gusmao held {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for trip nines.

The river brought the {6-Spades} and Silz rivered a flush to score a double up through Gusmao on one of the first hands of the day.
