Pantling Takes a Small One

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Joni Jouhkimainen opened to 7,500 in the cutoff and only Andrew Pantling made the call in the big blind.

The dealer fanned out {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Pantling check-called a bet of 3,000 from Jouhkimainen. On the {a-Diamonds} turn both players slowed down with a check to the {9-Hearts} river.

Pantling elected to take the betting lead with a sizing of 5,500, and without much thought, Jouhkimainen folded.

Everyone Loves a Chop Pot!

Nível 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

In a heads-up pot of 22,500 on a flop of {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Robert Cowen bet 7,000 from the big blind and Laszlo Bujtas raised to 22,000 on the button.

The {9-Clubs} hit the turn and Cowen checked to Bujtas who sized to 40,000. After some thought, Cowen made the call and the {j-Hearts} completed the board.

Cowen checked again and Bujtas moved all in for 63,000. Cowen snap-called and the cards were tabled.

Bujtas showed {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} for the nut-straight and Cowen smiled as he rolled over the same hand with {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to chop up the massive pot.

Meanwhile on another table, Yuri Dzivielevski was eliminated.

Lyubovetskiy Takes From Delgado

Nível 13 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

In a heads-up pot with 14,000 in the middle on a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}, both Vicente Delgado in the small blind and Andriy Lyubovetskiy in middle position checked their options to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Play went check-check again and the {q-Clubs} completed the board. Delgado led out for 7,500 and Lyubovetskiy quickly called.

Delgado turned up {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} while hanging on to his other two cards and Lyubovetskiy rolled over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the better pair. Delgado mucked his hand and the pot was shipped to Lyubovetskiy.

Deeb Picks Up Rockets To Eliminate Winter

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Shaun Deeb opened to 4,500 from under the gun and John Zable made the call from middle position. It folded to Sean Winter in the big blind who potted to 18,000 and action was back on Deeb who re-potted to 59,500. Zable quickly folded and Winter made the call, leaving 23,000 behind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Winter checked to Deeb who bet pot and Winter quickly called for his last 23,000.

Sean Winter: {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Winter flopped a straight draw and flush draw but was up against the aces for Deeb. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and the aces held for Deeb to score the pot and send Winter to the exit.
