At 7:05 p.m. GMT, Day 1a of the partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event kicks off their first of two starting flights for players to get a shot at winning their share of the brilliant $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. The second start day will take place next week on Sunday, February 28 at the exact same time and place.

Benjamin "frenchsniperrr" Chalot won the 2019 edition when the buy-in was doubled to $10,300 while the 2017, 2018, and 2020 editions could be entered in for $5,300 which is at the same price point as this year. Chalot laid claim to $2,259,113 after having had negotiated a heads-up deal with "Lucio".

Justin Ouimette won the Mini Main Event earlier this week for $184,507 with players like Yuri Dzivielevski, Timothy Adams, Rayan Chamas, and Dante Goya all also grabbing a title for themselves.

Players will receive 1,000,000 in chips in their starting stacks and blinds will increase every 25 minutes. Players can reenter once during the first nine levels of the day. Play will end when only 15% of the field is left and the remaining players will then be on break until Day 2 on Monday, March 1 at 7:05 p.m. GMT.

On Day 2, play will continue until ten levels of 30 minutes each have been played before breaking for Day 3 the next day. The remaining players will then play down to a final table which will be played out on Wednesday, March 3 all over 40-minute levels.

According to partypoker, Christian Galvan navigated through the $0.01, $5.50, and $55 stages and has a seat in today's Day 1a. Joining him are Emanuel Botoc, Leonard Modder, and Jeffrey Mulder, who all climbed their way up starting at $5.50.
