Pim de Goede raised to 5.2m from the hijack, and Trevor Reardon three-bet to 13.5m on the button and Martin Dzurenda moved all in for 21m in the small blind. De Goede folded after the amount was confirmed and Reardon called.
Martin Dzurenda :
Dzurenda held with his pocket aces and is now playing a stack worth 45m.
Simon Brooks has just lost two hands back-to-back to be eliminated in 14th place.
In the first hand, Garinder Purewal moved all in from the small blind for 25m and Brooks called.
Brooks had woken up with pocket aces and had a big preflop lead but when Purewal hit trip fours on the flop and held as the board completed to secure a very unlikely double up.
In the very next hand, Charles Akadiri raised to 4m from the cutoff, and Simon Brooks moved all in for eight big blinds the small blind and announced to the table he had not looked at his cards. James Golder reshoved from the big blind and Akadiri folded.
It was Brooks' turn to come from behind and took the lead on the flop when he hit two pair. But the river card was revealed to be the king of clubs, and Golder regained the lead with a higher two pair to eliminate Brooks.
