Joao Simao is aiming for a deep run again and is well on his way. Simao raised to 150,000 from the hijack and Dietrich Fast shoved from the cutoff for about 750,000. Simao confirmed if it was around the amount and Fast nodded. Simao called.

The board ran out - the king on the flop made sure Fast was eliminated and Simao was continuing on in his conquest to win that title.

After only twenty minutes into the first level of the day, Timothy Adams has already claimed his first victim. Orpen Kisacikoglu had raised from the under-the-gun position, and Adams called on the button. So did Jean-Noel Thorel in the small blind.

Adams tabled for the flush and, with defeat showing in his whole body, Kisacikoglu flipped around his hole cards showing for the flopped set of fives.
The dealer counted Adams' stack and with 843,000, it was confirmed that Adams had Kisacikoglu covered. Kisacikoglu has been sent to the rail but he might be back if he decides to reenter.
