Tedeschi Leads After the First Level

Nível 30 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

All nine players have made it through the first level of the day unscaved, although some have had more profitable times then others. Paul Tedeschi went from the short stack to the chipleader within 60 minutes, much in large part to the quality of hands he's been picking up.

Steve O'Dwyer has fallen to the middle of the pack while Joao Vieira finds himself at the bottom and will need to make something happen.

Four Premium Hands Result in No Casualties

Nível 29 : 350,000/700,000, 700,000 ante
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Ben Tollerene opened with a raise to 1,575,000 with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} in early position. Paul Tedeschi three-bet to 4,500,000 on his left with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Steve O'Dwyer picked up {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} next to act. O'Dwyer four-bet to 11,000,000 and Niall Farrell also looked down at {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} in the big blind.

With so much action in front of him, Farrell stepped aside and Tollerene also threw his pocket jacks into the muck. Tedeschi held a dominating hand compared to O'Dwyer's and he five-bet jammed all in for 50,550,000. O'dwyer thought for a minute but eventually laid his hand down, sending another pot to Tedeschi.

Tedeschi Doubles Through the Chipleader to Start the Day

Nível 29 : 350,000/700,000, 700,000 ante
Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Paul Tedeschi came into the day as the short stack but still had over 30 big blinds, plenty of chips to work with. He picked up the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} in middle position and raised to 1,500,000. Steve O'Dwyer was in the hijack and three-bet to 4,500,000 with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}. The action came back to Tedeschi who just flat-called.

The flop fell {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Tedeschi checked to O'Dwyer who continued for another 4,500,000. Tedeschi check-raised all in for 20,775,000 and O'Dwyer snap-called to put Tedeschi at risk. The {6-Spades} on the turn and the {a-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Tedeshci managed to score a double up through the chipleader. With that, Tedeschi moved into second place while O'Dwyer fell from the lead.

Stacked Final Table for Caribbean Poker Party $25,500 MILLIONS World

Final Table
Final Table

There will be only nine players returning to their seats as the final day of the $25,500 MILLIONS World gets underway. The unofficial final table was solidified in the last hand of the night yesterday. In an event with notable pros littering the field, it is no wonder that the final table is also stacked.

Leading the way is Steve O'Dwyer with 81,275,000 for the second consecutive day. O'Dwyer also boasts the highest career earnings among the finalists as he will move over the $25,000,000 mark and into the top 10 of all time. The next biggest stack at the table is nobody to shake a stick at either, as Ben Tollerene will come into the day with 74,750,000. Tollerene also has over $10,000,000 in career earnings and both players can be found many of the high roller tournaments throughout the world.

There are a couple of names that don't often play in these big high rollers, but with a huge $10 million guaranteed prizepool and the chance to satellite into the event, there was plenty of opportunities for players to make a name for themselves. Andras Nemeth (42,675,000), Charles La Boissonniere (26,225,000), and Paul Tedeschi (22,475,000) each have a chance to lock up an absurd amount of money.

Each of the nine players are all guaranteed at least $250,000 but with each elimination comes a pay jump. The top three finishers will earn a seven-figure payday while the winner will be taking home a cool $2,000,000. The action will get underway at 12 p.m. local time at the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas with the blinds resuming at level 29. The blinds will start out at 350,000/700,000 with a 700,000 big blind ante. They will be 60-minutes in length and will play down until a winner is crowned.
