We join the action in a heads-up pot, looking at a board of , with around 35,000 in the middle. The player in the small blind lead out for 20,000, with November's DTD1000 finalist Keith Johnson making the call.
The dealer burned and turned the , on which the small blind continued for 25,000, before Johnson quickly kicked it up to 75,000. The call was almost instant as they headed to the river. Action was checked to Johnson who had no sooner let go of his 175,000 river bet, than the pot was awarded to him.
Johnson dragged in yet another pot, bringing him up over the 2million-chip mark on a very active table.
Keith Johnson opened up the very next hand to 15,000, picking up two callers before the player in the big blind put in a three-bet to 66,500. After Johnson called, both other players in the pot made the call and they went four ways to a flop.
The flop checked around, with the landing on the turn. The three-bettor checked again, with Johnson checking, before Peter Breedveld led out for 108,000. That was enough to get the player on the button to fold, but the three-bettor made the call and Johnson moved out of the way.
The river paired the board and brought four-to-a-flush, with both players quickly checking. The three-bettor turned over , but Breedveld showed him the bad news, tabling his for trips.
After Keith Johnson had opened to 15,000 in early position and the small blind called, Robert Heidorn put in a three-bet to 65,000 in the big blind. Johnson peeled, with the small blind conceding, as the two players took the flop heads up.
Heidorn continued for 50,000, with Johnson calling quickly. The turn brought the , on which Heidorn went for a bet of 150,000. Johnson took a little while before making the call. The board paired on the river, with Heidorn going for barrel number three, moving all-in for 422,000.
Johnson dwelled for a minute or so, going back and forth between call and fold, before eventually flicking his cards, one at a time, into the muck.
There was around 450,000 in the middle on an board in a hand between Pedro Jose Idrovo Luque and Koray Aldemir.
Aldemir thought for a moment before moving his entire stack across the line, totalling 450,000 - a pot-sized bet. The dealer tossed him the all-in triangle, as Luque went deep into the tank. After making a face or two, Luque eventually made the call. Aldemir whipped over , and played the board, while Luque tabled for a straight to knock out Aldemir.
We join the action in a hand between Jason Koon and Daniel Klicman, on a flop, with around 100,000 in the middle.
Klicman checked the action to Koon, who put in a 42,000 continuation bet, before calling and heading to the turn. Koon continued again when checked to, this time for 58,000, with Klicman calling again.
The river brought the , which Koon bombed for 290,000, eventually getting it through.
Koon has since lost a little, with Klicman having picked up a few chips in the meantime.
There was around 140,000 in the middle on an board, in a hand between Gustavo Mastellotto and Barny Boatman. Mastellotto checked the action over to Boatman, who put in a single blue 100,000-value chip, which seemed to put Mastellotto to a big decision. After a minute or so, he eventually folded and Boatman dragged in the pot.
After busting the MILLIONS Open event in 13th earlier today, Boatman entered the Main Event but got off to a rough start. This pot brought him back to starting stack, just before the break.
