The players look to be excited to hit the felt at this tropical destination and they have begun to flood into the resort. Some of the players expected to be taking their seat in this opening high-roller event include Ryan Riess, Tom Marchese, Kenny Hallaert, and partypoker ambassadors, Kristen Bicknell and Natalia Breviglieri, who have all been seen around the resort already.
With a $1 million guaranteed prizepool, this event will likely be attracting many of the largest names in poker. Late registration will remain open until the beginning of level 13, which will be approximately 4:30 P.M. on Day 2. This 3-day event will wrap up on Sunday, November 19th, where a winner will be crowned. Players will begin with a whopping 1,000,000 chips with 60-minute blind levels. The blinds will begin at 2,500/5,000 with a 2,500 button ante. This newly adopted format will see the button post a single ante that will be equal to the big blind starting after the first level. At the end of eight levels, the remaining players will bag and tag to return for Day 2.
