The 2024 Irish Poker Festival continues today with Day 1b of the Main Event, Kicking off at 1 p.m. Last night’s Day 1a had a total of 21 entries, and after ten hours of poker, Alec Torelli bagged the chip lead. He finished the night with an impressive stack of 268,000, making him one of only three players so far to break into the six-figure chip margin.
This €3,000 buy-in Main Event is being held at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin, Ireland, and boasts a €700,000 guaranteed prize pool. Today's flight is expected to have a larger field than yesterday, all in the hopes of finding a bag and tag at the end of the night and bringing a healthy stack through to Day 2, which plays out on Saturday, November 2.
