The 2011 WPT Marrakech Main Event champion was the player at risk for around 100,000 chips and needed to pair the board in order to stay in the tournament. However, the turn and river both blanked and the bubble burst before hand-for-hand mode had begun.
Just before the end of the level, Ekrem Sanioglu raised to 13,000 and Pieyre Maggi called from one seat over. The action folded to Peter Reil in the small blind and he shoved for 120,000. Sanoiglu reshoved to isolate successfully and Reil flipped for his tournament life.

The flop made things even more scary for Reil, now also facing the flush draw on top. The turn left him drawing very thin and the river sent Reil to the rail in 24th place for 20,000 Dirhams.
Andre Miquel Ramalho Fonseca opened the action with a raise to 17,000 and Pieyre Maggi shoved from two seats over for around 13 big blinds. The young Belgian had jammed three times prior without getting called, but this time the move didn't get through without resistance.

It was all over after the turn and the blank river a mere formality. Maggi headed to the rail in 22nd place and also receives 20,000 Dirhams.
Shortly after returning from dinner, Masbah Ben Baba shoved for 10 big blinds from the button and Henrique Oliveira de Sousa Pinho reshoved from one seat over to put the Moroccan at risk.

The flop improved Ben Baba, but the turn saw Pinho with a set. Any club would still avoid the elimination, yet it was the river that sent Ben Baba out in 21st place.
Fahd announced all in for 133,000 and Fadhil Farag shoved from one seat over for one big blind more before the action reached Joaquin. The Spaniard shoved as well with almost double the stack of the two opponents to isolate successfully.
