High Roller Week on GGPoker won't exclude the four-card aficionados as HRW 03: $10,300 PLO High Roller, $1M GTD is set to kick off in just under one hour. The PLO High Roller carries a $1 million guarantee, so it promises a hefty payout for the winner.
Each player will get 100,000 in starting chips and the structure will move slowly. It begins at 250/500 and progresses with 15-minute levels. Given the traditional lack of antes in PLO tournaments, that means there will be plenty of play even with the six-handed format of the tables until the final one plays out nine-handed.
The long late registration period of about four hours combined with the unlimited reentries means there's plenty of mulligan opportunities for the deep-pocketed.
Thus far, only 22 plays have registered the event. Among them are plenty of notables, of course, such as GGPoker's own Felipe Ramos, noted PLO grinder Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger, Chris "Mangudai" Frank, Sean Winter, George Wolff, and Sami Kelopuro. Plenty more will undoubtedly join them.
Stay tuned here on PokerNews as we track the developments for this one-day event until a winner emerges.
