GG Spring Festival

The inaugural GG Spring Festival is off to a flying start in the first week and some of the biggest names in the world of poker will lock horns once more in the next high-stakes contest. At 6.05 pm BST, Event H-23: $25,500 Super High Rollers will get underway on the fastest growing online poker network right now.

It is the third of nine $25,500 High Roller Events during the record-setting festival and comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000. Event H-06: $25,500 Sunday Five Million attracted a field of 198 entries and concluded three days ago. And one day later, Event H-16: $25,500 Super High Rollers played down to a winner in a field of 85 entries.

Many of those that fired shells in these two high-stakes contests are expected to give it another shot. Among the early entrants are GGPoker ambassador Fedor Holz, Wiktor Malinowski, Rui Ferreira, David Yan, Juan Pardo, Artur Martirosian, Christian Rudolph, Adrian Mateos, and Yuri Dzivielevski.

The structure and format remain the same as in the previous one-day High Roller. All players receive 100,000 in chips, which are worth 200 big blinds in the first level at 250-500/ante 60. Unlimited re-entries are allowed during the registration period, which lasts five full hours until 11.05 pm BST. By then, the blinds will likely have reached 4,000-8,000 with a running ante of 1,000.

The level duration is set to 15 minutes each until the nine-handed final table has been reached. Once the nine contenders unite to one table, the action will switch to a fixed amount of hands until a winner has been crowned. Stay tuned to find out who goes all the way as the PokerNews team provides comprehensive updates from start to finish.
