Baumann Doubles with Queens

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Michel Dattani opened the button for 2,000 and Christopher Frank in the small blind raised to 5,300. Gaelle Baumann in the big blind cold four bet all in for 27,200. Dattani folded and Frankhad the chips to call litteraly in the pot quicker than Dattani's cards landed in the muck.

Holding {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} Frank had obviously a monster, but he was up against a big hand as well as Baumann showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

The board didn't come higher than a ten with {7-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Baumann doubled.

Three Hands To Bust Thorel

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 3,000 from the cut off before Benjamin Pollak raised it up to 8,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Thorel made the call.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Thorel check called another bet totalling 7,000 before both players checked the {8-Clubs} on the turn.

With the dealer producing the {q-Clubs} on the river, Thorel Instantly moved all in for 30,400 in chips. The bet had Pollak covered by just 200 in chips. After a minute of thinking, Pollak made the call and Thorel tabled his {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} for ace high. Pollak tabled {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and the winning hand.

In the very next hand, Thorel moved all in for one 100-chip from the hijack. Ivan Soshnikov raised it up to 3,000 which was enough to force the blinds out.

Thorel was in trouble with his {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} up against {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and was almost out the door when the dealer spread out the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop. Fortunately the turn and river came the {a-Diamonds} and {q-Hearts} to put a straight on the board as half the table yelled out to Thorel to come back.

In the final hand, Thorel moved all in for 400 from middle position. The action folded around to the player in the big blind who had the bet covered already and rolled over his {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Thorel showed {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and was unable to make it third time lucky as the board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} to see him leave the tournament floor.. again!

Karim Doubles Through Wigg

Nível 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, Zo Karim checked from the big blind. Juha Helppi then made 6,500 from under the gun and was called by Anton Wigg in the hijack. With the option back on Karim, he thought for over a minute before raising it up to 20,000. Helppi mucked shortly after before Wigg moved all in for around 75,000 in chips. Karim made the call and the cards were shown.

Wigg: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Karim: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Karim was at risk against the over pair but guaranteed himself the win when the {2-Hearts} fell on the turn completing his flush. The {10-Hearts} completed the board to only improve Karim’s hand as he doubled up to 110,000 in chips.

"Be a Man Steve, Yes or No? Flush?" - Kabrhel Cabaret Ends with O'Dwyer Winning Big Hand

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

In one of the last hands before the break Martin Kabrhel opened to 2,000 and Dmitry Nemirovsky made the call in the cutoff. Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind came along for the ride and the flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs}.

O'Dwyer checked, Kabrhel bet 3,000, Nemirovsky folded, O'Dwyer called. O'Dwyer check called another 8,000 on the {Q-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Clubs} fell on the river. O'Dwyer bet out 22,000 and now the big show started.

While O'Dwyer gave Kabrhel his famous death stare, Kabrhel started a monologue. "Flush?" he asked to a non answering O'Dwyer, "Flush?" Still no reply from O'Dwyer.

"Time table 18!" shouted the dealer. Not only O'Dwyer wasn't replying, no floor answered either. "Time table 18!"

"It's ok, no worry" said Kabrhel with a kind of serious face, "Yeah... Time table 18!" repeated the dealer.

"So Steve, you want a call or not?"

"Time table 18!"

"Be a man Steve, yes or no? Flush?"

In the meantime a floor finally had come over and had given Kabrhel the one minute countdown warning. "One? Really?" said Kabhrel with a not too serious tone of voice as he had been given the notice many times before in his long poker career. "But I need advice from Steve! So yes or no?"

O'Dwyer was listening, but wasn't saying a damn thing. "You don't speak with me? No? Why not? asked Kabrhel.

With just a few second to go Kabrhel made the call. O'Dwyer immediately tabled {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the full house.

"I was asking you!" said Kabrhel with a smile. "I know," said O'Dwyer "but I just wanted to hear you talk."

"Nice call pre flop. I like it. Nice call pre flop" said a now somewhat bitter sounding Kabrhel. "That was the only reason I called, because I thought you fold that shit pre flop."

O'Dwyer just stacked the chips and left Kabrhel blaze it off a bit. The home town player stood up from the table and went for a little walk. O'Dwyer is up to about 170,000, Kabrhel still has well over 100,000 left.

Malinov Back Over Starting Stack

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Pawel Zawadowicz opened to 2,600 from under the gun and was called by Atanas Malinov in the cut off.

Both watched the flop come down {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} before Zawadowicz threw out a 3,000 continuation bet. He was called and the {10-Clubs} made its way on the turn.

Malinov check called another bet of 5,500 before the dealer produced the {q-Clubs} on the river. Zawadowicz paused for a moment before opting to checked. Malinov then sat motionless for nearly a minute before announcing all in for his remaining 27,600 in chips.

Zawadowicz then tanked for over a minute before finally releasing his hand into the muck.

Pahuja Eliminated By Mandavia

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

We caught the action with Ankush Mandavia betting out 4,100 from under the gun on a {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. Mukul Pahuja then raised it up to 12,000 from the button which was called before both waited until the {8-Clubs} came on the turn.

Mandavia checked before Pahuja threw out 12,000 in chips. Mandavia then came over the top with a raise all in which had Pahuja well covered. The bet was called and the cards were shown.

Mandavia: {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Pahuja: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Mandavia had flopped trip nines and had left Pahuja drawing dead. The meaningless {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Pahuja was sent to the rail.
