From 130 players to the Final Table

All players had secured at least $716 but were all looking to climb up the pay ladder but that road wasn't going to be easy. The many hurdles on the road to the final table brought an end to the tournament runs of players like Olli "Erä_Koira" Ikonen, Andrey "ThePateychuk" Pateychuk, Marty "TheLipoFund" Mathis, Elliot "4rebmun" Smith, Ognyan "cocojamb0" Dimov, Luigi "Il-Giuglia" D'Alterio, Manig "swordfish007" Loeser, and Andrey "kot_spartac" Kotelnikov.

Carter Swidler
Carter Swidler finished in 14th place for $2,781

Carter "cswidler" Swidler fell in fourteenth place when he ran his kings into the aces of "kosilkO" to get the latter to the the top spot int he chip counts. Nitsche took out "dimitri004" and Pablo "PabloPool12" Roman before Cybulski took out "Lukin Dan" as the final table bubble.

Nitsche Dominates the Final Table

Cybulski took out Faria too soon after the final table started while "AlKatzone9" fell to Nitsche who then crept up to second place in the counts. He kept the pressure on to then take the chip lead and never really looked back much anymore.

He took out Cybulski and "PTStar86" out in the same hand when he found aces. Cybulski's kings and the ace-queen of "PTStar86" couldn't find any help on the board for Nitsche to score the double elimination and own 40% of all the chips in play with five players left in the tournament.

Tomasz Cybulski
Tomasz Cybulski finished in sixth place for $15,109

Nitsche kept the pressure on to get to almost 75% of all the chips in play. "Dolleman12" busted to "AKecho". Both "acapulcoo" and "AKecho" both doubled up once before "kosilkO" busted in fourth place to the German. Now he held 80% of all the tournament chips, he doubled up both players several more times before "AKecho" to fall to Nitsche's pocket tens.

With a huge chip lead in his hands, things couldn't go wrong anymore, he kept pushing and in the end, "acapulcoo" called the shove of Nitsche for their last seven big blinds with ace-trey. Nitsche held ten-nine and even though "acapulcoo" turned two pair on the queen-king-queen-trey board, the nine on the river gave Nitsche the higher ones to win the tournament.
