The actions checked to Merlin who continued for 175,000 on the 8♣A♣2♥ flop. Rouissi folded and Speranza called.

The 6♠ turn checked through to the A♠ on the river. Speranza bet out 375,000 and Merlin made the call. Speranza tabled A♦5♠ for flopped trips, laying claim to this pot.

Hands Accidentally Announced in Big Pot

A huge pot took place on Table 1, however it was marred with some confusion.

Julien Duveau began with a raise from under the gun before Cecile Ticherfatine put in a three-bet from the small blind. Duveau reraised to 2,300,000, leaving 175,000. Ticherfatine called as the bigger stack and announced she had kings, not knowing that Duveau still had chips behind. He also revealed he had ace-king.

On the A♠2♠2♦ flop, both players checked after each player had the clock called on them as they were waiting for the pay jump. The remainder of the chips went in on the 5♣ turn and the hands finally went on their backs.

Duveau was ahead with A♦K♠. Ticherfatine had one out with her K♦K♣ but failed to improve to a set on the Q♠ river.

Pavlos Xanthopoulos opened to 120,000 from early position before Nicolas Trolle three-bet to 350,000 from the small blind. Stefan Dimitrov moved all in for around 1,200,000 from the big blind, which pushed out Xanthopoulos. Trolle, the slightly bigger stack, called.

The aces remained best as the board ran out with the 6♣3♦J♣Q♣9♠. Trolle thought he was out but had 145,000 left over.

The following hand, Mirand Murseli opened to 125,000 from the hijack. Trolle put in his last chips from the button. Pietro Corsi called from the big blind and Murseli also called. Action checked through to showdown for the final board to read A♠2♣3♦5♠6♣. Trolle tabled AxQx and tripled up after his opponents could only show Qx9x and 8♥3♥.

The hand after, Alin Grasu opened to 130,000 early position. Murseli three-bet to 475,000 and Trolle committed his stack once more. Grasu folded.
