After several rounds of hand for hand, Cedric Schwederle was all in preflop against Karim Kaladjou. Players flipped over their cards.
Cedric Schwederle: 10♣10♦
Karim Kaladjou: J♠J♦

Georgi Abuladze raised from late position and Diogo Teixeira moved all in from the big blind for 39,000 chips. Abuladze called.
The two players exchanged words of banter as they waited for the hand to be dealt. When the other tables had finished, players flipped their cards, with Teixeira at risk.
Diogo Teixeira: J♥7♥
Georgi Abuladze: A♥K♥
The flop ran out 9♠5♦10♦9♦3♦. Teixeira shouted out for his cards, but they never came. Abuladze held up with his ace high.
"It is my birthday, it was always meant to be this way," said Abuladze.
The tournament is now on the true bubble, with one more player to be knocked out before Day 1b ends.

Play is now hand for hand. There were three alls ins across three tables and each hand played out one at a time.
As it happens, the three all in players each doubled up, meaning there were no eliminations. Hand for hand continues...
Marco Regonaschi raised from early position and Recep Aydemir reraised. Regonaschi shoved all in and Aydemir called. Players flipped their cards, with Regonaschi at risk.
Marco Regonaschi: K♥K♦
Recep Aydemir: J♣J♦
Aydemir had a pocket pair of jacks and Regonaschi had pocket kings. The board ran out 2♠3♥7♥9♥J♠.
"Yes!", cried out Aydemir as the jack fell on the river, giving him a set of jacks.
"Thank you, thank you," said Regonaschi as he got up to leave the table.

Around the room, heads are nodding, arms are stretching, and eyes are shutting involuntarily. Those with the energy are prowling the tables to assess the short stacks who are likely to bust. Nobody is rushing to get involved with a hand.
Play has slowed down considerably as the tournament continues into the early hours of the morning. The bubble is now approaching. There are 42 players remaining, meaning four more will drop out before the end of the flight.
