Break one record, that's good going. Break two in the space of a couple of days — that's something special.

The ever-popular Eureka Main Event and Eureka High Roller both crowned champions yesterday, with PokerNews on hand to pick up all the action.

Dutchman Pieter Theelen nursed his short stack to victory in the €1,100 Main Event, taking home €496,760 while Sander Ostlyngen took home €463,850 after winning the €2,200 High Roller.

Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised from under the gun and Sergio Aido was the lone caller from the small blind. Both players checked the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and the turn was {6-Diamonds}.

Aido bet 80,000 on the turn and Kisacikoglu raised to 300,000. After a few moments of thought, Aido called and the river was {5-Clubs}.

Both players checked the river and turned over their cards. Aido had {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, but Kisacikoglu showed {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} to take the pot with the better pocket pair.

Seiji thought it over for a moment, but ultimately it was too much and he tossed his hand in the muck.

Seiji Applies Big Stack Pressure

Nível 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Rodrigo Seiji
Rodrigo Seiji

Sergio Aido raised to 160,000 from the cutoff and Rodrigo Seiji called from the big blind. The flop was {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Seiji check-raised a 110,000 bet from Aido to 300,000, and Aido got away from it quickly. The hand is another example of Seiji throwing his stack around over the last level.

After the hand, a discussion broke out over the T-5,000 chips.

"Are these blue or grey?" Seiji asked the table. The table seemed to agree that they were blue, but Seiji insisted that they may be grey.

"Is your life in black and white?" Dvoress asked.

After a few more moments of staring at the chip, Seiji seemed to come around and agree that they were, in fact, blue.
