The action was caught on the turn with 3,300 in the pot. Reigning champion and PokerStars ambassador Alejandro Lococo bet 1,200 from the small blind. With the board reading , Sander Ostlyngen called from early position.
Lococo fired for 2,200 on the river which folded out his opponent.
Eljano Hysaj opened to 1,600 from under the gun and action folded to Konstantinos Attitis in middle position, who announced "raise" before putting out 1,600.
There was no big blind posted and Attitis explained that he had thought Hysaj had been the big blind and didn't mean to three-bet. The floor ruled that Attitis had to raise to 3,600 since he had verbally announced a raise.
After the floor clarified the situation, Gerard Berthaut flat-called from the hijack before Hysaj four-bet jammed his stack of 25,500. Attitis quickly folded and Berthaut mulled over a decision before calling with a bigger stack.
Eljano Hysaj:
Gerard Berthaut:
"What does he have?" Hysaj asked as he squinted across the table to see he was ahead before the board ran out to earn him a double.
"Thank you," Hysaj told his opponent coldly as he raked in the pot.
Action was three-handed on the completed board. Adam Dickson and Aurelien Russo checked from under the gun and early position respectively which prompted Jonas Degen to fire for 12,100. Dickson called while Russo folded after a few moments.
"Two pair," announced Degen and he turned over his for aces and fours. Dickson mucked his cards while Russo also commented that he folded a bad two pair.
