Beresford Heads £1,100 UKIPT Main Event Final Table
The final six will battle for the £1,100 UKIPT Main Event title at the PokerStars European Poker Tour London. The field is led by runaway chip leader Conor Beresford, who carries more than half of the chips in play in search of the first-place prize of £232,300 at the Hilton Park Lane.
Beresford scored a flurry of knockouts on Day 3, including the final two eliminations of the night that set the stage for today’s action. The Englishman has 171 big blinds, amassing a dominant 59 percent of the chips as play begins. Among the names giving chase is Martin Jacobson, who climbed from last in chips with 28 players remaining to third position entering Day 4.
