Wiecek Takes D'Alterio To Value Town
Luigi D'Alterio opened to 210,000 in the hijack and action made its way around to Piotr Wiecek in the big blind. He sat for about 30 seconds and then three-bet to 725,000. D'Alterio called.
The flop came and Wiacek made a continuation-bet of 475,000. D'Alterio called to bring the turn , where both players checked.
The river fell and Wiacek slid out a bet of 1.1 million, sending D'Alterio deep into the tank. After about three minutes and 40 seconds, a clock was called from another player at the table and he used up all but eight seconds of his countdown before dropping in a chip to signify a call.
Wiacek immediately turned over for aces full and D'Alterio mucked and paid off the bet, shaking his head as he did so.
