Dominik Nitsche raised to 30,000 from the cutoff and was called by Seth Davies in the big blind.
Davies check-called Nitsche's continuation-bet on the flop to see the fall on the turn. Davies checked again and now Nitsche bet 45,000. Davies called once more and the came on the river to complete the board. They both checked for Davies to pick up the pot with for the flopped pair of tens which became two pair on the turn.
Michael Soyza opened to 25,000 in early position and Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 56,000 in the cutoff. Steve O'Dwyer four-bet to 125,000 and Ben Heath tanked for a minute in the big blind before folding. Soyza also folded and Thorel announced all in which O'Dwyer called.
Thorel held the preflop advantage and it got stronger when the flop came . The on the turn sealed the deal and Thorel scored a double up to stay alive.
At the other table, Alexander Uskov got all of his chips in the middle with against Seth Davies who had . Uskov also held on and doubled through Davies.
Daniel Dvoress raised to 24,000 from mid-position and Wai Leong Chan called in the cutoff. Michael Addamo was sitting in the big blind and shoved for around 280,000. Dvoress quickly folded but Chan opted to call.
Wai Leong Chan:
The board ran out for Chan to hit a runner-runner flush to take Addamo out after having just eliminated David Peters.
Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading , David Peters led out for 50,000 from the big blind. Wai Leong Chan called on the button and the completed the board.
Peters pushed out a bet of 175,000 and Chan announced all in for 316,000. Peters flicked in a chip to call and saw the bad news. Chan tabled for the nuts while Peters held for a flopped straight. The stacks were counted and Peters was out-chipped by 2,000 and was eliminated.
