The penultimate day of the 2019 PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT is featuring the start of the last €25,000 tournament of the festival which will be a two-day affair. The €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament kicks off at 6 PM local time in the Americas Room in the Monte Carlo Bay Resort & Hotel.
A lot of the best players in the world have come to Monaco to battle it out against their peers and this is one of the last chances for the big names to stake their claim on the trophy and what promises to be a pretty large first-place prize. The players will receive 50,000 in chips and six time bank cards when they first take their seats. The tournament features 30-minute levels and there are ten levels of play scheduled for the first day with a 30-second shot clock throughout the days. There will be a 20-minute break after every four levels.
Players can reenter an unlimited number of times until the start of Day 2, Saturday, May 4 at 12:30 PM. Anyone who makes Day 2 will also receive 3 additional time bank cards at the start of the day and another 3 will be handed out to each player when the final table has been reached.

The flop read and both Roman Emelyanov and Isaac Haxton checked in the blinds. Ivan Leow bet 800 from the early position which was called by Jean-Noel Thorel in mid-position and Emelyanov.
The turn was the , Leow now checked. Thorel continued with a bet of 3,000 and Emelyanov folded. Leow raised to 11,000 and Thorel called.

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 600 from the cutoff and was called by Alex Foxen on the button and Roman Emelyanov in the big blind.
The flop came , Emelyanov check-folded to Badziakouski's continuation-bet of 500 which Foxen did call.
The turn was the , Badziakouski barreled another bet over the line, now for 2,300. Foxen raised to 7,400 and Badziakouski made the call.
The completed the board on the river and now Badziakouski decided to slow down and check. Foxen took some time and then bet 19,100 which sent Badziakouski into the tank.
After taking his sunglasses off, Badziakouski asked the dealer: "how many time banks do I have?"
As he had only just sat down, he hadn't received them yet. Haxton was kind enough to lend him his for now. The floor came over and gave 6 time bank cards to Haxton as a replacement.
After using 3 time bank cards, Badziakouski opted to fold.
