Leow Dodges Badziakouski's "Nuts"

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ivan Leow
Ivan Leow

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 4,500 in middle position and Ivan Leow three-bet to 15,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Badziakouski who made the call. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Badziakouski checked to Leow who pushed all in for 27,000.

"Nuts!" Badziakouski shouted as he instantly slammed in chips to call. Badziakouski turned over {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and was up against the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} of Leow.

The turn was the {8-Spades} which took away some of Badziakouski's outs and the {9-Spades} completed the board. Although Badziakouski pleaded that he had the winner, Leow was awarded a double up.

Pardo First Elimination of Day 2

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Ivo Bartoletti bet somewhere in the region of 20,000 on a {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and called a shove for Juan Pardo's last chips.

Ivo Bartoletti: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Juan Pardo: {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Pardo had flopped top pair, but was behind. The turn {2-Hearts} improved Bartoletti to two pair, and the {k-Hearts} river was too little too late.

Kolev Doubles Through Kempe

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Rainer Kempe opened to 4,500 in the hijack and Boris Kolev stuck in a three-bet to 13,500 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Kempe who called to see a flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Kempe check-called a bet of 8,000 from Kolev and the {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Kempe checked again and Kolev checked it back this time. The river was the {k-Spades} and Kempe eyed up his opponent's stack before moving all in. Kolev went into the tank before eventually calling off his last 43,500. Kolev tabled {a-Spades}{5-Spades} and Kempe's cards went into the muck.

Timebanks? Where Yong's Going He Doesn't Need Timebanks

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Richard Yong
Richard Yong

Nick Petrangelo opened to 4,000 and Richard Yong - a new entrant at the start of play today - three-bet all in for 50,000.

It folded back to Petrangelo who...did nothing.

"We've got him!" said tablemate Mikita Badziakouski who was sat to Yong's direct left.

"I've got nine timebanks," said Petrangelo, pondering his decision.

"Me too," said Yong, "But I don't need them. Here, you have them." He threw his timebanks into the middle as well. Petrangelo eventually folded.

"I've never used one," continued Yong. "I will learn how to use them!"
