The prize pool information has just been released by the tournament organizers. A total of 39 unique players entered, and 10 of them needed a reentry to make for a total of 49 entries. The total prize pool is €2,352,735, a little down to last year's total prize pool of € 2,716,000 (46 + 10).
Action folded to Ali Reza Fatehi on the button and he raised to 20,000. Small blind Sam Greenwood contemplated what to do for a bit before pushing all in for 145,000 total. The big blind folded, Fatehi called.

From early position, Mikita Badziakouski raised to 17,000 and Anthony Zinno three-bet to 32,000 on the button. The action folded back to Badziakouski and he called to go heads-up to a flop of . Badziakouski checked, Zinno bet 50,000 and Badziakouski called.
After the fell on the turn, Badziakouski checked once again. Zinno fired a second barrel worth 100,000 and Badziakouski called for just shy of half his remaining stack. He then checked for the third street in a row when the appeared on the river and Zinno moved all in.
Badziakouski gave it some consideration and elected to fold, leaving himself short with just 16 big blinds.
After a short setback a few minutes ago when Vojtech Ruzicka doubled through Viacheslav Buldygin, the Russian got his chips back through fellow countryman Konstantin Uspenskiy.
Buldygin raised to 17,000 on the button and Uspenskiy three-bet to 45,000 in the small blind, which Buldygin called. On the flop, Uspenskiy checked and Buldygin bet 55,000. Uspenskiy called, then quickly checked again the on the turn. Now Buldygin made it 110,000 to go and that was good enough to rake in the pot without further resistance.
While stacking up the chips, Charlie Carrel leaned over from the other table to have a quick chat.
Anthony Zinno bet 20,000 from the button on a flop of after two opponents checked to him, and they both called. The made a four-straight on board when the turn arrived, and Steve O'Dwyer came out firing with 60,000 from the big blind. Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called, as did Zinno, and the board paired with the . O'Dwyer checked and ElkY wasted little time before moving all in for 129,000. Zinno called fairly quickly and O'Dwyer mucked right away.
Mikita Badziakouski was first to act and raised to 16,000. Anthony Zinno (cutoff), Koray Aldemir (button) and Mustapha Kanit (big blind) all called.
Kanit checked on and Badziakouski bet 20,000, leaving himself 150,000 behind. Zinno folded but Aldemir called right away. Kanit contemplated what to do for a bit before check-raising to 66,000. Badziakouski folded, Aldemir called.
The on the turn saw Kanit check. Aldemir bet a mere 35,000 and Kanit folded.
Ben Heath raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and Ali Reza Fatehi three-bet to 48,000 from one seat over on the button to claim the blinds, antes and raise of Heath after all opponents folded.
One hand later, Heath raised to 18,000 again and Fatehi just called in the cutoff. Martin Kozlov also came along out of the big blind and then checked a flop of . Heath bet 25,000 and Fatehi min-raised to 50,000 in order to force folds from both Kozlov and Heath.
From under the gun, Ali Reza Fatehi raised to 19,000 and the action folded to Orpen Kisacikoglu. He pushed for 149,000 and the rest of the table folded back to Fatehi, who called.

The board ran out and Fatehi scooped the pot with a straight to eliminate Kisacikoglu.
Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 18,000 and Martin Kabrhel announced all in from the button for 82,000. Konstantin Uspenskiy in the big blind didn't seem to notice that and dropped in the chips for the call of Ruzicka's raise.
The floor was called and Uspenskiy had to forfeit the 18,000 for sure, but still had the option to call the all in, raise or fold. Uspenskiy opted for the fold, and Ruzicka called.
