Patrick Leonard and Oleksii Khoroshenin, the two chipeaders in this tournament, are seated together at table 1. They got involved in a big pot in one of the first few hands of the day.
Leonard raised to 4,500 and Khoroshenin called from the button, big blind Max Silver came along as well.
Silver checked to Leonard on the flop and the chipleader continued for 10,000. Khoroshenin tanked for a minuted and called. Silver got out of the way quickly.
The landed on the turn, this time Leonard fired out a bet of 24,000. Again, Khoroshenin took his time before he called.
The completed the board and after some thought, Leonard checked to his opponent. Khoroshenin also took a couple of minutes before sliding out a bet of 67,000.
"That was a nasty river", Leonard said, before he let go of his, which made it Khoroshenin the new chipleader of this High Roller.
