Mikita Badziakouski raised to 80,000 and Murad Akhundov moved all in from the button for 587,000 to enforce a fold.
Then, Michael Bonzon shoved for 368,000 and scooped the blinds and antes before Aidyn Auyezkanov raised to 120,000 soon after. Badziakouski shoved for 502,000 and Auyezkanov stared over to receive smiles from the Belorussian before letting do. Badziakouski showed him the .
Ole Schemion was first to act and made it 85,000. Action folded to Mike Watson and he pushed all in for 413,000 from late position. The button and both blinds released and Schemion asked for a count. He called as soon as he found out.
Ole Schemion:
Mike Watson:
Watson had by far the better hand and things were looking good for him... till the river. The board ran out and Watson made his exit.
Last year he finished runner up to Mustapha Kanit in this very event for €672,300, no cash for him this year.
Bryn Kenney raised from under the gun and the action folded all the way around to table short stack Aidyn Auyezkanov. He shoved from the big blind and Kenney quickly called.
Auyezkanov:
Kenney:
The board ran out and Auyezkanov doubled for 298,000 with aces and sevens.
Mikita Badziakouski limped in from the small blind and David Peters checked his option in the big blind. Both checked down the flop and turn, Badziakouski also checked the river. Peters then bet 125,000 and Badziakouski needed some time to make up his mind.
He eventually grabbed five green T-25,000 chips and put them over the line, followed by tapping the table when Peters showed for a pair of nines.
One hand later, Peters limped from the small blind and Michael Bonzon checked. The duo checked the flop and turn, Peters bet the river and Bonzon snap-folded.
Ole Schemion pushed for 324,000 from the button and big blind Justin Bonomo made the call. Schemion had and saw his hand hold up against Bonomo's when the board came . Double up!
Dan Cates raised his button to 60,000 and Ole Schemion called from the big blind. Schemion check called 40,000 on , and check called another 138,000 on the turn. The river saw Schemion check again, with 349,000 behind. Cates asked for a count, and then bet 265,000. Schemion wasn't too thrilled about it all, tanked for a bit, and eventually folded.
Murad Akhundov moved all in twice to steal the blinds and antes, Aidyn Auyezkanov did so once and then Akhundov got a walk on his big blind.
Bryn Kenney raised to 60,000 to grab the blinds and antes, the American is the biggest stack by quite some margin but all smaller stacks barely have any chance but to shove or fold.
Aidyn Auyezkanov opened to 60,000 and was called by Steve O'Dwyer on the cutoff and David Peters in the small blind. On the three-way flop of , the action was checked to Auyezkanov and he continued with a minbet worth 30,000. O'Dwyer called and Peters took some consideration before check-raising all in.
Neither opponent was interested in calling and Auyezkanov also gave up his big blind soon after to drop down all the way to eight big blinds.
