Welcome to Day 4 of PokerNews' coverage of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event.
The starting field of 816 entrants is down to just 57 players, each with hopes of capturing this prestigious title, as well as the first-place prize of $1,491,580. On top of the chip counts by a solid margin is Juan Etcheverry with 1,706,000. Rounding out the top five is Chance Kornuth (1,165,000), Kevin Schulz (1,1,65,000), Juan Martin Pastor (930,000) and Jim Collopy (889,000).
Others still in the field include Rami Boukai (625,000), Pratyush Buddiga (589,000), Noah Schwartz (558,000), soccer legend Ronaldo (512,000), PokerStars Team Online's Naoya Kihara (509,000), Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier (447,000), Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel (266,000), Olivier Busquet (201,000) and Shannon Shorr (135,000), to name a few.
The plan for the day is to play another five levels or to play down to 16 players. The cards will be in the air at noon local time, roughly 35 minutes from now.

On the first hand back from the break, Louis Boutin moved all in for 85,000 from the hijack and Naoya Kihara reshoved for 201,000 from the small blind. Chance Kornuth was next to act in the big blind and he peeked down at his cards. Snap call.

Kornuth had a stranglehold on the hand with the other two players at risk of elimination, and the board secured the double for Kornuth. He's now sitting behind a massive stack of 1,750,000
Jonathan Duhamel raised to 25,000 from the small blind, and Andreas Samuelsson made it 60,000 in the big. The former Main Event champ shoved all in for 293,000, and Samuelsson called.

Duhamel was dominated, but the flop gave him a flush draw to improve his equity. On the turn, he picked up still more outs, but it did him no good as a finished his tournament.
Jason Mercier opened to 20,000 from the hijack, Emrah Cakmak three-bet to 60,000 from the big blind and Mercier four-bet shoved for about 420,000 after a few moments. Cakmak called instantly.

The board ran out , giving Cakmak trip kings to eliminate Mercier in 41st place for $27,700.
Olivier Busquet opened for 25,000 and was called by cutoff Eugenio Mattar. Busquet bet the same amount on the flop, and Mattar raised to 50,000. Busquet moved all in for about 200,000 total, and Mattar called.

A turn left Busquet fading jacks and kings on the river, but that's exactly what fell as the emerged from the deck to eliminate the pro.
Ronaldo's stack has been oscillating at the feature table for the past 20 minutes, but he just hit a timely river card to double his stack. He opened to 35,000 from under the gun and Christopher Lockhart shoved for just under 900,000, putting Ronaldo to a decision for his remaining 324,000.
"Aye, aye, aye," he grumbled as he peeked at his cards. He looked up at the dealer and announced a call.

Ronaldo needed help, and his chances greatly improved on the flop, giving him a flush draw to go with his three live deuces. The on the turn changed nothing, but the dealer delivered the on the river to give the former football star a pair and the win.
"Even in the World Cup I never sweat that much," he said as he began stacking his newfound chips.
Stefan Jedlicka shipped into an unopened pot from the small blind for 155,000 and was called by Diego Ventura in the big blind.

Jedlicka said he wouldn't hate a four on the flop, but it was flopping to put him way behind. He asked for a seven, but an hit followed by the .
Despite the disappointing end, Jedlicka has plenty of be happy about from this PCA trip, as he also cashed for $158,740 when he got third at the LAPT here last week.
Ronaldo raised to 80,000 from early position and Eugenio Pacelli Mattar three-bet to 200,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Ronaldo who shoved for 536,000, and Mattar cut out chips for a call before pushing them into the pot.

Ronaldo was looking for a king, but he added two more outs on the flop. Unfortunately for him the turn and failed to improve his hand, sending him to the rail in 26th place.
Ronaldo wished his tablemates good luck before heading to the rail and signing some autographs for fans. The former football standout gave us a lot of fun moments during his Main Event run. The poker industry is certainly sad to see his run end.
