With around 2,000 in the pot and a board reading 
, the player in the big blind checked as did Igor Pihela in the hijack. Nancy Birnbaum then bet 1,150 from the cutoff, Walter Buss called from the button, and the big blind got out of the way. Pihela made the call and three players saw the 
river, which they all checked.
Pihela tabled the 
for a pair of queens, and it was good as both Birnbaum and Buss mucked.
Despite losing that pot, Birnbaum is still up a bit from the starting stack.
