Soulier Makes Some Moves

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Fabrice Soulier
Fabrice Soulier

After a fairly quiet first level for Fabrice Soulier he came to life in a couple of recent hands.

Vitaly Lunkin opened for 50,000 and was called by Benny Spindler and Oleh Okhotskyi who had the button. Rasmus Agerskov folded the small blind and Fabrice Soulier took a few moments to decide on his move. He raised it to 212,000 and meeting no resistance saw the pot pushed his way.

Two hands later Lunkin again opened for 50,000 and it folded to Soulier who now had the button and raised to 112,000. The blinds folded and Lunkin popped it up to 227,000. Soulier had a quick think and moved al in. The red triangle was in front of him and Lunkin gave him a brief stare down before folding his hand.

The Ukrainian Stays Alive

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

A short-stacked Oleh Okhotskyi moved all in for 218,000 from early position and Dmitry Yurasov asked for a count before calling from the button. Both blinds folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Okhotskyi: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Yurasov: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Okhotskyi had patiently waited for a hand, and he was rewarded as the board ran out a dry {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Okhotskyi gave a little fist pumped before sitting down to twice as many chips as he had moments before.

Okhotskyi’s River Call Leaves Him Short

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dmitry Yurasov opened the pot for 40,000 and got called by Anatoly Filatov in the small blind and Oleh Okhotskyi in the big blind.

{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} on the flop.

All three players checked the flop and saw a turn card {10-Clubs}. Filatov now led for 60,000 got called by Okhotskyi and Yurasov folded. The river was the {3-Spades} and Filatov now bet 175,000. It didn’t take too long for Okhotskyi to make the call but he mucked his cards when Filatov turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the flopped straight.

Fady Kamar Eliminated in 8th Place (€48,050)

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Fady Kamar
Fady Kamar

A massive and entertaining hand just went down, one that will no doubt be hard to top here at the final table.

It began when action folded to a short-stacked Fady Kamar in the hijack and he moved all in for roughly 170,000. Dmitry Yurasov, who was next to act in the cutoff, put in a call, and then Vitaly Lunkin moved all in over the top for right around 820,000 from the button. The blinds both folded and Yurasov made the call.

Yurasov: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Lunkin: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Famar: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop delivered Yurasov a king, and he was on the verge of eliminating two opponents and becoming a massive chip leader. The {9-Diamonds} turn gave both Famar and Lunkin straight draws, but as it was they held some of the other's outs. As such, both were on their feet preparing to make their exit when the {J-Clubs} slammed down on the river.

"Straight," an elated Lunkin said. Indeed, the jack on the river gave him a winning straight. Yurasov seemed shell shocked, while Kamar took his leave from the tournament in eighth place for €48,050.

Series of Shoves

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The short stacks don’t have many moves but they have not been afraid to move their chips in on a few occasions.

Rasmus Agerskov was the first to open shove from early position and found no callers to take down the blinds and antes.

A few hands later Vitaly Lunkin opened for 45,000 was called by Oleh Okhotskyi in the small blind and when big blind Agerskov moved in over the top of them Agerskov again picked up the pot.

Next it was Anatoly Filatov who opened to 40,000 and Okhotskyi who moved all in on the button for 207,000 and he took it down before the flop.

Yurasov Continues to Roll

Nível 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dmitry Yurasov has taken down a few small pots, and now he's taken a decent sized one from Vitaly Lunkin.

It happened when action folded to Yurasov in the small blind and he raised to 50,000, which Lunkin called. When the flop fell {2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Yurasov bet 50,000, Lunkin called, and the {Q-Clubs} turned. Yurasov bet again, this time 130,000, but he couldn't shake his countryman.

Yurasov finally slowed down with a check on the {5-Diamonds} river, and Lunkin checked behind. Yurasov tabled the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a rivered pair of fives, and it was good as Lunkin flashed the {3-Clubs}{k-Spades}.
