Everyone Loves A Chopped Pot!

Nível 22 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #150: Cates limped in for 120,000 from the button with {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. Kurganov in the big blind had {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and made it 420,000. Cates rather quickly announced he was allin. Kurganov called and a 3,850,000 pot was at hand.

Ace-jack versus ace-king, Cates was a 69% favorite to win the hand. The {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop was of no immediate help, and the {5-Clubs} on the turn took away all the back door outs, but added some "choppertunities".

The river came the {9-Diamonds} and Cates planted his head in his arms. It was a chop and they both got back their invested money, and divided Colman's chips.

Hand #151: Kurganov opened the button with {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and both blinds folded.

Hand #152: Cates limped the button with {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Kurganov checked his big blind this time with {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. {Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} on the flop and Kurganov check-folded to Cates' 220,000 bet.

Hand #153: Colman opened his button for 240,000 with {A-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Cates called with {K-Spades}{4-Hearts} in the big blind.

600,000 in the pot and the flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, both players checked and they did so as well on the {5-Spades} on the turn and {2-Hearts} on the river. Small pot for Colman.

Hand #154: Kurganov opened with {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} on the button for 240,000. Colman in the big blind had {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and shoved allin. Kurganov couldn't call, and folded instead of risking it all.
