Daniel Colman opened from the hijack for 14,000 and Vanessa Selbst in the cutoff raised him to 37,000. It folded round to Colman who made a four-bet to 82,000.
Selbts now had a long think, riffling her chips slowly and methodically. Everyone waited to see what she would do. At last out came a five-bet of 133,000 total.

On Thursday, Day 1b of the France Poker Series (FPS) played out. As such, we received our daily update on that tournament from PokerStars, and we thought we' share it with you:
PCA finalist Yann Dion is still leading FPS Monaco as the event goes in to Day 2. With 206,300, the Day 1a chip leader is just 19,400 ahead of fellow Canadian Conor Shelly who finished Day 1b with 186,900. There are 389 players still in the running, from the 837 entries who entered the €1,100 event (247 on Day 1a and 590 on Day 1b).
The prize pool for the event is €811,890 with €150,00 for the winner and 111 players paid. Full prize pool details will be published after the start of Day 2.
Dion is an EPT regular who finished seventh at the 2013 PCA for $230,000 and has live tournament winnings of more than $850,000. Team PokerStars Pros Jake Cody, Alex Kravchenko and Liv Boeree all made it through yesterday but Boeree in particular has her work cut out for her today with only 17,000. PokerStars Team Online’s Ronan Monfort is also lagging with 16,800.
Among the 278 Day 1b survivors were a bunch of EPT regulars including 2013 PCA champion Dimitar Danchev, EPT Berlin runner-up Andrew Chen, EPT Madrid runner-up Fraser MacIntyre, EPT Barcelona winner Mikalai Pobal, Ilan Boujenah, Roger Hairabedian, Aussie Millions champ Ami Barer, Luca Moschitta, EPT Prague winner Salvatore Bonavena and EPT Kyiv runner-up Alexander Dovzhenko.
They will join the 111 Day 1a survivors who include EPT9 Player of the Year Jan Bendik, UKIPT London winner Sergio Aido, FTOPS Main Event winner Niall Farrell, Zachary Korik, PCA finalist Shyam Srinivasan, EPTLive commentator Steven Moreau, Josh Prager, Estrellas Barcelona champion Lorenzo Sabato, PokerStars Team Online’s Mickey Petersen and Gabriel Nassif.
A total of 179 players won their seats for FPS Monaco and 82 are still in. The EPT Grand Final features 48 events between April 23-May 2 at the beautiful Monte Carlo Bay Hotel in Monaco. As well as FPS Monaco, the festival includes the €100k Super High Roller which started yesterday, the €10,600 Main Event which starts on Sunday, a €2k Open Face Chinese event, a €1k Womens Event and €25k High Roller as well as cash games of all kinds running every day from noon until 6am.
