Martin Finger and Andrew Badecker Chop 96th Place (€7,500)

Andrew Badecker
Andrew Badecker

Martin Finger will chop a min-cash with Andrew Badecker after both were eliminated in the same hand, but on separate tables. Tournament rules on the EPT state that if a more than one player bust during the same hand of hand-for-hand play, but all on separate tables, they will chop the money of the first payout.

There were three all-in hands on the same deal. This hand was the second of three all ins to be called out by tournament director Toby Stone.

The hand started with a Finger raise to 10,000 and a Jesse Martin three-bet to 29,500 from the small blind. Finger responded by shoving all in for 189,500 and after some thought Martin called, causing Finger to wince.

Finger: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Martin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board ran {k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to make Martin two pair.

After that, Stone walked a few feet over to Badecker's table where he was all in. Badecker raised to 10,000 on the button with right about 135,500 behind. Mikhail Petrov reraised all in from the big blind with his stack of around 280,000. Badecker had tanked long and hard before finally making the call.

Badecker: {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Petrov: {K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The flop gave Petrov the lead with the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} falling. The turn {3-Hearts} left Badecker needing just an ace on the river, but he couldn't find it when the {3-Spades} fell on the end.

Finger and Badecker chopped up the €15,000 for 96th place and took home €7,500 each.

Adam Levy Bubbles EPT Grand Final

In the last level at approximately 2:48 PM local time, Adam Levy moved all of his chips into the middle from the hijack seat. He shoved 73,500 at 2,000/4,000/500 for a little over 18 big blinds. Action folded to Vadzim Markushevski in the small blind and he made the call. The big blind folded.

Levy tabled the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Markushevski the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Levy immediately saw the bad news and shouted over to Bryan Piccioli that he had run into aces.

The flop, turn and river ran out {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} and Levy was eliminated in 98th place. Although Levy wasn't supposed to be the official bubble boy, he was, but we'll have details on that shortly.

Bubble Action: Baumann and Gomez All In

Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

We have had three simultaneous all-in hands on the bubble, and here is the first.

Daniel Gomez raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and Gaelle Baumann moved all-in for around 40,000 in the small blind. Gomez must have absolute trash, because he took an age before deciding to call and when he turned his hand over, that was exactly what he had.

Baumann{A-Clubs} {A-Spades}
Gomez{9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}

Board: {10-Clubs} {9-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {K-Clubs}

So despite Gomez pairing the board Baumann survives to double up at an anxious time.

Seidel Dominant, Neuville Keeps On Swinging

Nível 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

"Nestled in the foothills of the TV set is the second feature table. It's got a small population, just seven players, and its mayor is Erik Seidel. The tall American has been dominating proceedings most of the last level, opening the most pots and winning the majority of those too...."
