The pre-flop action was simple, with Louis Luo opening to 500 and getting calls from Bruno Portaro on the button and Sam Grafton in the cutoff.

Then the action started. Grafton checked the flop to Luo who continued for 1,000. Portaro flat-called and Grafton then check-raised to 3,000, getting to callers.

Grafton opted to check the turn, and Lou also checked. Portaro bet 6,500 and Grafton flat-called. Luo check-raised to 17,000 and Portaro thought.

After only a minute or so, Grafton called the clock and a perplexed Portaro wrestled with his decision before folding. Grafton also quickly folded and Luo took down the pot.

Guzzardi Keeps Firing

Michele Guzzardi defended his big blind with a call against a 600-raise from the cutoff. Guzzardi let his opponent bet 800 on and then check-raised to 2,500. The other player called.

Guzzardi fired 3,800 on the , getting a call again, and the river saw Guzzardi move all in for an effective 8,000 or so. Guzzardi had only slightly bigger stack than his opponent and a potential loss would have been devastating. Nonetheless, the other player eventually folded and Guzzardi dragged the pot without exposing his hole cards.
