The first major piece of poker silverware is on offer at Crown Casino, Melbourne as the Aussie Millions Main Event plays down to a winner.

Resuming with just seven players remaining, the goal for each will be taking home the A$1,850,000 in first prize money, the ANTON Jewellery Main Event bracelet and getting to lift the coveted Aussie Millions Main Event trophy.

Nino Ullmann sits with the chip lead, holding over 100 big blinds with just two minutes left at the 25,000/50,000 blind level. Behind him comes Oliver Weis and Vincent Wan, with a certain Erik Seidel sitting fourth in chips.

The {8-Spades} appeared on the turn to give Wan a full house and Ullmann fired another bet worth 455,000, Wan just called. On the {2-Spades} river, Ullmann gave up the pot and checked, Wan bet 1.0 million and forced an instant fold.

Ullmann Back Into the Lead

A button raise to 140,000 by Nino Ullmann with the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} was called by Vincent Wan, who held the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. The flop brought {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} to give Ullmann bottom pair and Wan a flushdraw with the six.

Wan checked and Ullmann made it 85,000 to go, which Wan called. The {8-Diamonds} appeared on the turn and Wan checked once more, Ullmann checked back. Nothing changed on the {10-Hearts} river as both players checked and Ullmann regained the lead.

Ullmann raised to 140,000 the next hand in the cutoff with {q-Spades}{6-Spades} and Gareth Pepper flat-called the button with {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Wan defended the small blind with the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and the flop came {j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

The action was checked to Pepper, who bet 280,000 into the two big stacks. It was enough to win the pot as Wan and Ullmann both folded.
