Dunst Drops Some, Still Going Strong

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Tony “Bond18” Dunst opened the action with a raise to 600 from early position and picked up a caller from the small blind.

The small blind checked the {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Dunst continuation bet 900 and his opponent called.

The {k-Spades} turn brought a second check from the small blind and another bet from Dunst, this time for a slightly larger 2,600.

The {j-Clubs} brought in a third check from the small blind and Dunst checked it back, turning over {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for two pairs. Unfortunately for Dunst, his opponent had rivered a set with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} to take the hand. Dunst still has a very respectable 48,000 however and is still in great shape.

Double for Moreira de Melo

Nível 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dutch former Olympic gold medalist Fatima Moreira de Melo bagged a fortuitous double-up just before the break getting all the chips in preflop in a blind on blind battle.

Moreira de Melo got it in with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} for 18,900 against the big blind’s {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and looked to be in a spot of bother before the board ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} to give her the flush and she doubled to 38,000. Her unfortunate opponent was left with just 100 and busted the very next hand.

Sluiter Doubled Up

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Raemon Sluiter didn't have the best of starts and was already down to just 11,000 early on. He then got it in with {A-Spades}{6-Spades} on a {3-}{4-}{5-} flop with two spades, up against a player with a set of threes. Sluiter was at risk of becoming one of the first players out, but the {7-} on the turn prevented that. A blank on the river saw Sluiter double and he's since back to almost starting stack.

Douaglin Takes One Out

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

A betting exchange between Joel Douaglin and his opponent pre flop saw both players commit all their chips into the pot.

Doughlin: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Even though Douaglin was ahead he couldn’t bare to watch and cringed the whole way as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

His over pair would hold on sending one player to the rail and moving Douaglin to over 60,000 in chips.

Engel Edges Even Higher

Nível 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Ari Engel is continuing to build – this time he took a few chips from tablemate Martin Kozlov.

Kozlov opened the preflop action to 650 from the hijack and Engel defended his big blind to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Engel checked it over to Kozlov and the latter continued for 300. The bet was met with a call and the dealer turned the {8-Hearts}. Both players checked it through to the {4-Diamonds} river where Engel took the betting lead by firing 750 into the middle.

Kozlov didn’t look too happy about it but he committed to a call to see Engel’s {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} which was enough to take down the pot.
