Hands #62-65: Holz Hurt By Watson

• Nível 12: 4,000-8,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #62: Fedor Holz limped in the small blind with {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Mike Watson checked his option holding {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} in the big blind before a flop of {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Holz checked it over to Watson who fired for 10,000. Holz folded.

Hand #63: Mike Watson raised on the button with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #64: Mike Watson limped in the small blind holding {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Nick Petrangelo checked the big blind with {a-Hearts}{6-Spades} before a flop of {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and the {8-Hearts} arrived on the turn.

Watson check-called a bet of 10,000 and a nine arrived to complete the board. Watson checked again and Petrangelo made it 30,000 to go. Watson folded and Petrangelo took it down.

Hand #65: Fedor Holz limped in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} before Mike Watson raised to 24,000 in the big blind with ace-queen and Holz called to see a flop of {8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Holz checked, Watson continued for 20,000, and Holz called to see the {q-Diamonds} turn card.

Holz checked again and Watson fired for 50,000. Another call from Holz saw Watson put in a third barrel for 150,000. After going into the tank and using a time bank chip, Holz ultimately called with top pair to see he was behind Watson’s two pair.
