Martin Finger raised to 4,000 under the gun and Sean Giesbrecht called from the cutoff. The rest of the field folded and it was heads-up action to the flop. Finger check-called a bet of 4,000 and then both players checked the turn. When the completed the board on the river, Finger led out for 8,000 and was met by a min-raise to 16,000.
On a flop of we saw Elliot Smith check from the small blind. Daniel Cates made a bet of 7,000 from the cutoff and Smith called. Smith check called another 15,500 before both players checked the on the river.

Philipp Gruissem just got his last 13,800 in before the flop holding . His neighbor on his left looked him up with but that hand failed to improve as the board came .
One table over Vladimir Troyanovskiy got his last 43,000 or so in with against Niall Farrell's . A board full of blanks later saw Troyanovskiy hit the rail while Farrell got his stack up to over 140,000.
The action just folded to Darryll Fish in the small blind and he raised to 36,000, basically forcing Kevin MacPhee to play for his tournament life, as he had just 39,000 chips in front of him.

The tournament clock tells us a total of 122 entries have been made into this A$25,000 Challenge single reentry 6-max tournament. A total of 64 players remain at this time. The prize pool and pay out have not been released yet, but we expect both shortly.
Right before registration closed, Brian Rast walked up to the registration desk, handed over another $25,000, and received a ticket to give it one more try. He made his way back to the tournament area, handed over the receipt, and received 50,000 in chips.
There was just one problem, though. Rast had already reentered once, and this event is single reentry only. While Rast was waiting for a hand to be dealt, he was called back by the floor. Rast was told the event was indeed single reentry and that registration had made a mistake. Rast understood and made his way back to registration to get a refund.
We missed the specifics, but we do know David Peters was just eliminated after bluffing it off against Geoff Mooney.
