Francesco Sergi opened to 55,000 and was called by Derek Wolters from one seat over in the big blind. On the flop , Sergi continued for 60,000 and Wolters mucked. Sergi also took down the next pot and stole the blinds and antes once more.

While the bubble is still going on, tournament staff has decided to keep the same blinds until the bubble for the unofficial final table breaks. The tournament clock is stopped but a mobile clock is running to determine when the next break takes place. It is good news for the short stacks, albeit the blind structure is fairly slow anyways and the short-handed tables will keep the pressure high.
In the very first hand of the unofficial final table, Tang Peng raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Sam Steindl three-bet to 165,000 from one seat over. The action folded back around to Peng and he started with a bang by moving all in for 700,000. Steindl asked the dealer to verify the stack size and then made the call.

The flop came and Peng looked up briefly from his phone with a wry smile on the face. Neither the turn nor the river improved his hand and Peng was sent to the rail in 7th place for a payday of A$12,150.
Up until now the tournament ran with levels of 40 minutes, however the final table will offer one-hour levels to the remaining participants. Especially for the shorter stacks this will provide more equity and it may take a while for the next seat open to occur.
