The final weekend of the 888poker 2017 Super XL Series has started and on the tenth day of the series, there were six events planned. Who finished the series with a nice payday and the honours of the XL Series title? Let's take a look at the results of Day 10.

Event #48: $40,000 Super XL - Octopus

The players liking bigger buy-in events prepared for the $40,000 Super XL - Octopus, a $215 buy-in tournament. At 17:00 GMT the day started and there were 261 players signing up. They created a total prize pool of $80,400 and for the winner, there was the first prize of $15,678.

After "kyosti_i" from Finland busted in ninth place, the tournament reached the final table of eight players. From there on, the tournament said goodbye to "Minzopug" (8th, $2,010), "NewBob17" (7th, $2,412), "TylerRM" (6th, $3,216) and "JacktheCpt" (5th, $4,422).

With four players left, each player was guaranteed at least $6,432. That was the most money"d1sclosure" could win in this tournament after finishing in fourth place. Brazil's "marcofilho" missed out on the final heads-up and he ended up in third place for $8,844.

The last two remaining players battled for a while before "KellerA" took the victory and first place of $15,678. "namlle" finished in second for $11,658.

Event #49: $20,000 Super XL - Saturday R&A

In Event #49: $20,000 Super XL - Saturday R&A there were 311 players competing for a total prize pool of $34,600. After almost eight hours of play, it was Ireland's "susanboyle1" who won the tournament for $6,695.10 after defeating Pius "AMasta89" Heinz in the final heads-up.

Event #50: $75,000 Super XL - 6-Max

The third event of the day was Event #50: $75,000 Super XL - 6-Max. This event attracted 439 players, but that wasn't enough to get to the guaranteed prize pool of $75,000.

Every finalist got at least $2,662.50, but they were all aiming for the first prize of $15,000. In the end, it was Romania's "levelingmode" who took the title and earlier mentioned first-place prize. He defeated "Juanfran1973" in the deciding heads-up after nine hours and 47 minutes of play.

Event #51: $15,000 Super XL - Mini 6-Max

Again, there was a Mini edition on the schedule. In total, smaller edition of the 6-max saw 849 players register to create a prize pool of $23,347.50. The lion's share of that money went to Denmark's "jonhdinno", who took the first prize of $4,144.18.

Event #52: $25,000 Super XL - Saturday Challenge

The day continued with the Saturday Challenge, an event with a buy-in of $55. There were 753 players competing for the first prize of $6,908.77, but that was never awarded. The final three players made a deal and it was Brazilian player "bs_pad" who took the most money ($5,832.65).

He didn't win the tournament because he finished in third place. The victory went to "rrstar79", after defeating Bas "nelisschuif"de Laat in the final heads-up.

Event #53: $10,000 Super XL - Turbo 6-Max

The final tournament of the day, Event #53: $10,000 Super XL - Turbo 6-Max, saw 298 players register to create a total prize pool of $14,900.

Most of this money went to "joao_mathias" from Brazil who won the tournament after just three hours and seven minutes.
