Schindler Bubbles on a Bad Beat
Shannon Shorr opened from under the gun to 12,000. Jake Schindler, directly to his left, three-bet to 60,000, leaving just 62,000 behind.
Action folded to David Lambard in the small blind, who four-bet to 123,000, enough to cover Schindler. Shorr folded, and Schindler snap-called with the bubble looming. The tournament was in hand-for-hand play and two other eliminations took place before the tournament director came over to the table to permit the dealer to run the hand.
Jake Schindler:
David Lambard:
Schindler was a heavy favorite but the flop of gave Lambard a set. Schindler did get any help from the on the turn or the on the river and was eliminated right on the money bubble.
