Players have left the King's Tournament Arena for their final 15-minute break of the day.
During the break, the floor staff will be racing off the 100 denomination chips. Also, late registration will close at the end of this break. Currently, 479 have entered the fray, with only 165 players remaining.
With 22,000 in the middle on a flop of 7♠6♦6♣, Hyunsup Kim bet 20,000 from the big blind. Christian Duerschlag in the small blind check-raised to 50,000, which Kim called.
The 2♣ came on the turn and Duerschlag immediately moved all in. Kim counted his chips and realized that he had less than Duerschlag. The Korean opted to make the call for a huge pot.
Hyunsup Kim: 10♣10♥
Christian Duerschlag: J♣J♥
Both players had an over pair, but the German was best. The 3♦ completed the board and Duerschlag won the huge pot, whilst Kim headed to the exit
On a flop of J♥10♥K♥ with roughly 9,000 in the pot, Jorge Ufano in the big blind and Fausto Tantillo on the button checked.
But on the turn J♦, Ufano bet 5,000. Tantillo eventually called to find the 4♣ on the river, where he folded after Ufano fired a second barrel of 20,000.
A few hands later, Ufano called Liudmila Ziukova's all in.
Liudmila Ziukova: K♠Q♣
Jorge Ufano: A♠K♦
The dealer fanned a board of A♦10♠9♦3♣7♠, and Ziukova was eliminated.
There were 12,000 in the middle on a flop of 9♥4♦2♣, and Barny Boatman bet 4,200 from the button and was called by Fabian Rolli in the hijack.
Both players checked the 6♣ turn, but Boatman bet 10,000 on the Q♥ river which was called by Rolli. Boatman revealed A♠Q♣ for a rivered top pair to take the pot and increase his chip lead.
Robert Schulz was in the hijack when he shoved for 8,200. He was called by David Boyaciyan in the small blind.
Robert Schulz: A♠J♦
David Boyaciyan: A♣K♠
Both players smiled after the flop 10♠5♣Q♦ which gave them a flush draw. But the 7♥ on the turn and the 2♣ on the river didn't change anything, so Schulz was eliminated.
