"That's not a straight, right?" Covrig inquired and then gathered his belongings. He described pocket jacks as one of his most dreadful hands.

The all-in showdowns kept on coming, though, as Traian Stanciu became the next casualty just prior to that. He was up with A♥K♣ against the 5♦5♥ of Florian Kraft via three-bet shove for 272,000.

On a board of 8♠6♠2♣7♠10♥, the mighty pair held and the field was down to the last five tables.

Very little time passed before Candido Cappiello three-bet to 170,000 with 25,000 behind. Christian Schneider four-bet jammed and Cappiello eventually called.
