Kimhi Left With Crumbs Near the Bubble as Rastelli Hits the River

Nível 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Yair Kimhi raised to 35,000 in the cutoff before Fabio Rastelli moved all in for 250,000 in the small blind. Kimhi tanked for several minutes as the bubble approached before calling.

Fabio Rastelli: KQ
Yair Kimhi: AQ

Kimhi had Rastelli dominated, but the 929 flop gave Rastelli a flush draw. The turn came the 7, but the 8 fell on the river and Rastelli made his flush to double up, leaving Kimhi with less than a big blind.

Renji Mao
Renji Mao

Iman Ghashayar opened to 34,000 from the cutoff and found one caller in Renji Mao in the big blind.

Mao check-called a 33,000 bet from Ghashayar on the 2A8 flop, but then led out for 45,000 when the 3 fell on the turn.

Ghashayar slid his hand into the muck and Mao collected the pot without showing.

Mao, who won his first WSOP bracelet earlier this year in Vegas, currently sits with about an average stack of 600,000.

Kabrhel Learns, "Si," Landi Can Bluff

Nível 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Amato Landi and Martin Kabrhel were heads-up on the river of a K5610Q with Kabrhel having one blue 1,000 chip behind.

Landi then bet 16,000 under the gun to put Kabrhel all in. "Ace-jack? Straight," Kabrhel asked.

"Are we in the money already? How much is in the pot, seven million? Only about 200,000, I think I can fold," Kabrhel added.

Landi, who doesn't speak fluent English, began talking to Kabrhel and Massimiliano Patroncini came over from another table to translate. "Ask him if he ever bluffs," Kabrhel asked Patroncini.

"Did he say yes? Si," Kabrel asked again before the clock was eventually called. "Okay Italy, this is for you. Presento," he said as he tossed his last chip to Landi.

Landi then showed 22 for just a pair of deuces, showing that, yes, he can bluff. "Can I slowroll," Kabrhel joked before showing AK to double up.

"Ask him why he's bluffing me," Kabrhel once again asked Patroncini as the large crowd that had gathered around the table began to dissipate.

Over One Million Chips for Ketzer

Nível 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Vincent Skolin raised to 35,000 on the button, and Felipe Ketzer defended from the big blind.

On the flop J48, Skolin made a continuation bet of 35,000 and Ketzer check-called. Both players then decided to check the turn 3.

The Q finally landed on the river. "Felipe is going to bet big," Aylar Lie said, supporting Ketzer during her break on the Colossus. She was right as Ketzer took a pile of green chips and bet. "How much is it?," whispered Lie. But nobody had the time to count as Skolin snap-folded.

Cooler Sends Casaburi Out

Nível 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Michele Fratini opened to 36,000 from the hijack and was called by Michele Casaburi in the cutoff.

Fratini continued for 42,000 on the K9Q flop and Casaburi called.

The 8 fell on the turn and Fratini checked, prompting a 56,000 bet from Casaburi. Fratini then check-raised enough to put Casaburi all in for his last 150,000 and Casaburi quickly called to be put at risk.

Michele Casaburi: KK
Michele Fratini: J10

It was a slowplay gone wrong as Casaburi's set had run into the flopped straight of Fratini.

The J river failed to improve Casaburi and he was sent to the rail.
