Bilan Hits a Two-Outer to Triple

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Paul Covaciu raised to 16,000 under the gun before Florin Bilan moved all in for 75,000 in middle position. Adrian Strobel called in the hijack, while Covaciu also called.

The flop came 962 and Strobel bet 80,000, chasing away Covaciu and leaving him heads-up with a chance to knock out Bilan.

Florin Bilan: AJ
Adrian Strobel: KK

Strobel was ahead with his kings, but the turn brought the A as Bilan made top pair and Covaciu flinched. The river was the 10 and Bilan tripled up.

"Ace-king," tablemate Alexandr Dusco asked Covaciu.

"Ace-queen," Covaciu replied.

Saliba Bluffs Early

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Vivian Saliba
Vivian Saliba

Arriving on a turn on the board of 5482, Vivian Saliba made a bet of 55,000 into the pot of 140,000 from the big blind. Her opponent was Arvydas Merfeldas in the cutoff, and he made the call.

The 7 river then completed the board and Saliba did not take long before moving all in, covering the 150,000 chips Merfeldas had behind.

Merfeldas was even quicker, with his call, however. Saliba tabeled her A2 for bottom pair, but Marfeldas had rivered a straight with his A6 and raked in a double-up in the early stages of Day 3.

Sander Doubles Through Nemeth

Nível 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Oleksii Kovalchuk raised to 16,000 and Andras Nemeth three-bet to 60,000 in the small blind. Philipp Sander then four-bet jammed in the big blind for 158,000 and Kovalchuk folded. Nemeth pondered about his decision for a mere fifteen seconds and called with the far superior stack.

Philipp Sander: AQ
Andras Nemeth: 109

Sander's lead grew far bigger on the Q53 flop and Nemeth needed running cards to deal the final blow. One of them came with the 8 turn but the 4 river ensured the double of Sander.
