Boika Picks Off Ambitious Bluff

Nível 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Aliaksei Boika
Aliaksei Boika

The action was picked up on the 9Q3K turn, with around 40,000 chips in the middle. Aliaksei Boika added 12,000 more to that via a bet from the big blind, and Vlad Darie raised that bet to 32,000 from the hijack.

Boika made the call and the 9 river was dealt. Boika took a few minutes before leading for 29,000 chips. Darie, on his turn, took even more time to come out with an all-in raise to 87,600.

Boika took some more time to think over the situation, but ultimately decided he could not fold and put in the call. Darie showed 75 for the missed flush draw and Boika revealed his 33 for the bottom full house.

Boika took down the huge pot while Darie could join Samantha Algeri on the rail, who had busted just before him.

Nível 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
James Chen
James Chen

James Chen opened to 1,300 from under the gun before Birger Ohl made it 4,500 on his direct left. Action folded back to Chen who reraised to 11,500. Ohl five-bet to 27,000 and after a few moments of thinking, Chen called.

The K104 flop checked through to the 9 turn. Chen led out for 30,000 and Ohl went into the tank. After around two minutes, he made what appeared to be a disciplined fold and Chen scooped in a rare five-bet pot.

WSOP veteran Roland Israelashvvili joined the table as the hand had finished, and has a fresh 100,000 starting stack. Israelashvili has 462 cashes under the WSOP umbrella, which includes 10 circuit rings. However, he has still yet to capture a bracelet.

Michele Pucci raised to 1,000 from early position and Miroslav Salaj called from middle position. Jakob Miegel then put in a three-bet to 4,400 before Tom Dingenen opted to four-bet all in for 20,200 chips from the big blind.

The action folded to Miegel, who called with the covering stack.

Tom Dingenen: 87

Dvoress' Huge Bluff Picked Off; Did Rcheulishvili Call in Time?

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress opened to 1,200 from the button before Levan Rcheulishvili three-bet to 6,000 from the small blind. James Chen folded in the big blind, and Dvoress called.

Dvoress called a bet of 4,000 on the AJ10 flop, which brought in the 7 turn. Rcheulishvili then checked, prompting Dvoress to fire for 16,000. Rcheulishvili thought it over and called to beef the pot to 52,800.

Rcheulishvili checked again on the 6 river and after some thinking of his own, Dvoress moved all in for 49,300. Rcheulishvili went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes, Dvoress called the clock.

The tournament director began the countdown. It appeared time had expired, but Rcheulishvili called just as the dealer had his hand on Rcheulishvili's cards.

Dvoress tabled Q5 for queen-high while Rcheulishvili tabled AK for top pair, top kicker.

"Just in time," said a table mate. "Technically not, but close enough," Chen added.

You could see the adrenaline pumping through Rcheulishvili as he took in the pot. Dvoress still has one more life due to not firing a bullet in Day 1a.

There was no complaint from Dvoress and he headed out of the tournament room.

Zamiska Has the One Hand Endara Doesn't Want to See

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Peter Zamiska and Juan Endara were heads-up on a board of A5103 where Endara bet 7,000 from the cutoff.

Zamiska came back with a raise to 15,000 in middle position and Endara called to the 2 river. Zamiska then checked.

Endara bet 27,000 and Zamiska immediately announced he was all in. "Wow," Endara said as he tanked for a minute before calling for his last 60,000.

Zamiska then turned over KQ for a flush. "That's the only hand I lose to," Endara said, showing J10 as he got up from his seat.

"King-nine or king-queen. One combo of each. And he never has king-nine. Not even one hand, one combo," a shell-shocked Endara said as he stood by the table for a few moments before making his exit.

Sitbon's Main Event Journey Ends Prematurely; Cho Breaks Down a Hand

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Wooram Cho
Wooram Cho

Julien Sitbon open-jammed for his last 7,900 from under the gun before Wooram Cho made it 15,000 on his direct left. The remaining players got out of the way, and the cards went on their backs.

Julien Sitbon: 109
Wooram Cho: A7

Cho and Sitbon paired up on the AK9 flop but the Frenchman was still behind., The 6 turn and J river confirmed Sitbon's exit. The Winamax Team Pro is unable to reenter as he also fired a bullet on Day 1a.

Cho explained to PokerNews how he's built such a big stack, which came at the expense of Sitbon.

A few hands prior, Sitbon opened to 1,000 from the hijack. Cho three-bet to 3,000 from the cutoff and Sitbon called.

The flop was Q6X, and Sitbon check-called for 3,000 and did the same on the 5 turn for 8,500.

The 6 completed the board, and Sitbon check-jammed as the slightly bigger stack after Cho sized up to 25,000. Cho said he thought it over for around two minutes before making the call.

Sitbon had AQx for a pair of queens, but it was bested by Cho's KKx. Cho explained that he made the call due to the fact that Sitbon was capable of making of move and having some bluffs with the nut-flush blocker. Cho also said that as he had the K, this made him want to call.

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Ramzi Zuraikat
Ramzi Zuraikat

Adrian Mateos raised to 700 in the cutoff and was called by Maxim Panyak on the button before small blind Ramzi Zuraikat three-bet to 2,100 in the small blind.

Both Mateos and Panyak called to the A96 flop, where Zuraikat bet another 2,600. Panyak called, while Mateos got out of the way heading to the Q turn.

Zuraikat slowed down and checked as Panyak fired out 5,200. Zuraikat turned over 88 and tossed them into the muck as Panyak took the pot.

Earlier on the day, Zuraikat won a massive pot off Roman Stoica, and the guys at PokerFirma told PokerNews the details.

There was 6,500 in the pot on the 1086J board and Zuraikat had a bet of 27,200 in front of him, indicating there was some previous action on the turn. Stoica moved all in for 98,000, covering Zuraikat by 4,000. The latter went deep into the tank and eventually called.

Ramzi Zuraikat: 66
Roman Stoica: A10

Zuraikat was behind with his set and needed the board to pair to survive. He called for the full house, and the dealer complied by finishing the board off with the 8. A few hands later, Stoica was eliminated.

Duc Tuan Tran was also recently eliminated.
