Moadeli Loses his Stack in Two Hands

Nível 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Mehrzad Moadeli
Mehrzad Moadeli

Mehrzad Moadeli left his seat after losing his stack in the course of two consecutive hands. The first was the one that cost him more, in a {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop where he was in the big blind and bet 150,000 against Charbel Salloum in middle position.

Salloum called and the {10-Hearts} came on the turn. This time Moadeli checked and Salloum announced all in with Moadeli snap-calling and opening quickly his {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. The excitement was followed by disappointment when Salloum tabled {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for top set and the {6-Hearts} on the river gave the pot to Salloum, with Moadeli saying "nice hand" to his opponent.

On the very next hand, Moadeli was in the small blind and announced all in for 125,000 when it was folded to him, with Claas Segebrecht in the big blind calling him quickly.

Mehrzad Moadeli: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Claas Segebrecht: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Moadeli became one of the day's casualties before the money.
